Being anti-imperialist today is a critical attitude toward global power dynamics that perpetuate inequalities, exploitation, and domination between countries or regions. We must combat the policies of the imperialist regimes of NATO, the EU, and kyiv, and denounce and mobilize against these cases before it is too late.
We must not allow their assassination by the kyiv regime, NATO, and the EU. The Kononovich brothers, antifascists and communists, are leaders of the youth wing of the Communist Party of Ukraine, which has been outlawed by the Kyiv regime since 2014.
The Kyiv regime had placed the Kononovich brothers under house arrest and is now choosing to detain them once again and send them to a Territorial Recruitment Center (TRC) to force them to fight for its own interests and those of NATO and the EU, something they have consistently refused to do.
In practice, this means the murder of the antifascist and communist Kononovich brothers.
We demand that the Kononovich brothers be released by the Kyiv regime and not sent to the front lines as a result of their activism and struggle.
The Kononovich brothers’ message after their latest arrest: Comrades, the Zelensky regime wants to kill us!
They want to send us to the front—and then there won’t be any need to prove anything; whether we’re guilty or not, no one will care. They’ll kill us. Their logic is: ‘No, man, no problem!’
When we were detained at the Territorial Recruitment Center (TRC), we called our lawyer, but he was also arrested by the TRC and taken to a recruitment office in another district of Kyiv.
The regime will now decide how to transfer us to the Volyn region, where we are registered and listed for military service.
This is what’s happening, comrades! They won’t leave us alone; they’ve planned our murder.
They’ll send us from the Volyn TRC to the front, and then they might throw us into the sea.”
We call on all people, all anti-fascist and anti-imperialist groups, organizations, collectives, and mass representatives of the workers’ and popular movements to join the mobilization and block their murderous plan! Let’s build a barricade of internationalist solidarity!
